Roger Jeffries is the Founder and President of Onyx Commercial Real Estate (formerly Coast to Coast Commercial Real Estate), a Black-owned brokerage, offering full-spectrum commercial real estate services in multiple markets throughout Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Roger founded Onyx with a vision of building a boutique firm with a strong focus on customer success and loyalty.
Onyx CRE partners with individual and family investors, REITs, corporations, and government entities to acquire, dispose of, and lease commercial real estate properties. It specializes in Retail, Industrial, Self-Storage, and Single Tenant Net-Lease investment properties as well as select Tenant Representation relationships.
Experience
Roger began his commercial real estate career at Marcus Millichap, where he honed his prospecting skills to find new opportunities. While working with commercial property owners and investors he provided portfolio reviews, analysis, and recommendations to protect, preserve and increase the health of their portfolios. Since then, he has worked at boutique firms in Southern California and Nevada achieving more than $30 million in transactions.

As a licensed broker in both California and Nevada, Roger has well over a decade of commercial real estate (CRE) experience and success with millions of dollars in closed transactions. He is also an established Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) expanding his reach with over 13,000 fellow members in the United States and all over the world. Working in the areas of property valuation, acquisition, disposition, and leasing, Roger holds expertise in several market areas including but not limited to retail, industrial, multi-family, owner/user, and self-storage segments. Notable transactions include Dairy Queen, Wendy’s, Domino’s Pizza, Burger King, National Self Storage, and A-Access Self Storage in California, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania & Delaware.

Roger brings an honest “every man’s” approach to Onyx Commercial Real Estate, focusing on client needs, desires, and dreams. Roger enjoys sourcing and evaluating commercial property as well as engaging commercial property owners and investors for new opportunities, keeping them abreast of recent transactions, relevant legislative developments, and emerging trends in the national, regional, and local markets.
Education
Roger attended Rutgers University as a scholarship Division-1 football player graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. He continued his formal education at Temple University earning a Master’s Degree in Sport Administration. Roger chose to further his real estate specific education by earning an CCIM designation in 2015.
Personal
Roger was born and raised in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. As a native of Philadelphia he not only enjoys cheering on his alma maters but all Philadelphia sports teams. Being born and raised on the east coast, Roger has deep appreciation for the weather in Southern California and that is the main reason he calls it home. He supports several community organizations and has volunteered for several charities that benefit at-risk children and children’s mental health.
